Windows XP PPPOE Setup Without Router
 

Click “Start”. Then select “Control Panel”

If you see "Select a Category" click "Switch to Classic View" on the left hand side.

Then double-click “Network Connections”.

Under Network Tasks, click “Create a new connection”

Then click the “next” button.

Select Connect to the Internet, and then click the “next” button.

Choose “Set up my connection manually”, and then click the “next” button.

Click “Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password”.

In the Connection Name dialog box, type the name of the ISP. This becomes the name of the connection and click the "next" button.

Type in the user name and password, and then click the “next” button.

In the Completing the Connection Wizard dialog box, review the settings. If correct click the Finish” button.
 

In the Connect dialog box, click “Connect” to attempt the connection.
