Mail Settings for Mail 2.0 Key Settings:
Creating a new e-mail account is a simple task. Follow these steps: On the Toolbar, click Mail and select Preferences from the drop-down menu.
The Accounts window appears. In the bottom, left corner, click the + button.
The New Account wizard begins. This wizard will help guide you through the configuration process of your e-mail account. Click the Continue button.
Account Type
= Select POP from the menu. Click the Continue button.
Incoming Mail
Server = mail.mhtc.net Remember: Passwords are case-sensitive. Ensure your Caps Lock key is DISabled. Click the Continue button.
Do NOT enable
"Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)". Click the Continue button.
Outgoing Mail
Server = smtp.mhtc.net Click the Continue button.
Do NOT enable
"Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)". Click the Continue button.
The Account Summary window appears. You can verify the information you've entered and click Go Back to make any necessary changes. Click the Continue button.
That's it. Your account has been created. Click the Done button to close the wizard.
